◆ MUS 304 - Theory IV (4 credits)
Study of chromatic harmony applied to four-part writing. Study of fugue, rondo, and sonata form applied to composition. Exploration of romantic, impressionist, early 20th century (12-tone technique and set theory), and contemporary music from a theoretical point of view. Further development of aural skills. Prerequisite: MUS 303 - Theory III and a declared music major. Grade only. Offered annually.
