STAT 305 - Biometry (3 credits)
An introductory course of statistical applications to the biological sciences. Data reduction, sampling, techniques of estimation, hypothesis testing, and model verification procedures are included. Diversity indices, techniques of species sampling, and other specific biometric methods will be covered. Prerequisite: MATH 112 - Applied Precalculus or higher. Grade only. Offered each semester. Note: Cannot be used as a MATH or STAT elective for data science, mathematics, mathematics education, or statistics majors.
