HLA 660 - Applied Analytics Capstone Project and Presentation

The HHL Applied Analytics Capstone Project and Presentation course is a culminating experience designed to provide learners with an opportunity to apply content knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program of preparation focusing on the program learning outcomes. Students will integrate, extend, critique, and apply learned knowledge and evidence-based practices. The project must have an applied analytics focus. The project will demonstrate the process for solving a novel allied health or healthcare problem using big data at an organizational level. Prerequisites: DSCI 611 - Data Science Applications, DSCI 622 - Modeling and Predictive Analytics in Healthcare, HLA 630 - Data Driven Healthcare Decisions, HLA 650 - Enterprise Risk Management, LDRS 644 - Managing Change, Innovation and Transition, and LDRS 648 - Project Management. Grade only. Offered annually (usually summer session). Repeatable up to 4 credits.
