NURS 663 - Interprofessional Leadership in Community and Population Health Practicum


(3 credits)

In this practicum course, learners will be immersed within an interprofessional healthcare, health-related, or healthcare educational team where interprofessional collaborative practice is necessary for services and programs to be effectively delivered to individuals, families, populations, and communities. Learners will be challenged to lead an interprofessional team designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative, evidenced-based services and programs to improve community or population health outcomes. Prerequisites: NURS 608 - Organizational and Systems Leadership , NURS 614 - Evidence-Based Practice , NURS 651 - Strategic Project Management , NURS 652 - Financial Resource Management in Nursing Service , NURS 653 - Human Resource Management  or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered annually (usually summer session).
