EDFD 420 - Classroom Management: B-6th Grade

This course provides students with the knowledge, skill, and understanding of preparing a safe environment for all learners. In particular, the impact of strategies on managing children within early childhood and elementary educational settings. This course has field experience hours within local school districts. Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education, EDFD 400 - Metacognitive Learner: B-6th Grade, and EDFD 460 - Multicultural Youth, Children, and Families Part I: B-6th Grade. Corequisite: ◆ EDFD 440 - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: B-6th Grade. Grade only. Offered each semester. This course may be retaken once due to student withdrawal or earning less than C grade.
