ACCT 672 - Advanced Auditing

The course focuses on the application of audit theory in practice. Course topics include reports on audited financial statements, attest engagements, engagement planning, risk assessment, audit evidence procedures, audit sampling, the effect of information technology on the audit, and professional responsibilities. Prerequisite: Admission to the Master of Professional Accounting Program. Grade only. Offered annually (usually fall semester).
