NURS 663 - Interprofessional Leadership in Community and Population Health Practicum

In this practicum course, learners will be immersed within an interprofessional healthcare, health-related, or healthcare educational team where interprofessional collaborative practice is necessary for services and programs to be effectively delivered to individuals, families, populations, and communities. Learners will be challenged to lead an interprofessional team designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative, evidenced-based services and programs to improve community or population health outcomes. Prerequisite: Admission to graduate nursing program. Grade only. Offered annually (usually summer session). Note: Requires 120 clinical hours.
