CAS 630 - Systems II: Benefits and Barriers


(3 credits)

The lives of children and adolescents are often shaped by a variety of both formal and informal macro-level systems. This course provides students with information about many of these broader systems. This course provides a review of the purpose(s), an operational understanding, and an opportunity to evaluate, discuss and understand many of the opportunities, benefits, impediments and barriers provided and imposed by each system is provided. Prerequisites: CAS 600 - Introduction to Child and Adolescent Studies  and CAS 610 - Systems I: Benefits and Barriers . Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
