THAD 355 - Contemporary Dance Techniques III

This intermediate level contemporary technique course focuses on in-studio physical experiences in developing range within one’s embodied knowledge. The dancing in this course relies upon applied theory and anatomical principles in clarifying function and expanding expressive capabilities. Contemporary dance history and choreographic practices support the physical work. Prerequisites: ✽ THAD 255 - Contemporary Dance Techniques II, a score of 30 on the Contemporary Placement Audition, or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered each semester. Repeatable once.
