HLA 445 - Evidence-Based Leadership and Management in Healthcare

This course fosters heightened awareness of management and leadership theory within the essence of baccalaureate professional role development for health leaders. An appreciation of complex organizational structure will promote successful employment of management and leadership skills with emphasis on evaluation and quality control. Prerequisites: HLA 300 - Foundations for Health Professionals, HLA 325 - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Healthcare Leaders and △ HLA 414 - Health Care Policy/Quality Healthcare Delivery; or, instructor permission and notification of HLA Program Director.
