NURS 410 - Medical/Surgical Nursing III


(4 credits)

Student will continue to expand on their content knowledge, critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and clinical judgment skills while introducing multi-concept patient cares. Students will be focusing on safe nursing management of patients with complex health issues. Preferred corequisites: △ NURS 400 - Professional Nursing and Nursing Success III , NURS 405 - Nursing Competency Skills and Application III , NURS 420 - Nursing Care of Pediatric Patients , and NURS 425 - Nursing Care for Population Health . Prerequisites: Admission to the Nursing program, NURS 345 - Nursing Competency Skills and Application II  and NURS 350 - Medical/Surgical Nursing II . Grade only. Offered each semester on Winona and Rochester campuses. Note: Differential tuition rates apply. This course is allowed to be repeated 1 time.
