NURS 441 - Nursing Success IV


(3 credits)

Students will be provided with the essential knowledge and nursing strategies needed for successful preparation for the NCLEX-RN examination. Students will evaluate critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and test-taking skills. The course provides a comprehensive review of key nursing concepts and competencies across all major content areas of the NCLEX.

Students will engage in course activities that focus on high-priority nursing topics such as safe and effective care environments, health promotion and maintenance, psychosocial integrity, and physiological integrity. Preferred corequisites: △ NURS 440 - Professional Nursing IV , NURS 450 - Medical/Surgical Nursing IV , and ◎ NURS 470 - Capstone: Immersion in Nursing Practice . Prerequisites: Admission to the Nursing program and △ NURS 400 - Professional Nursing and Nursing Success III . Grade only. Offered each semester on Winona and Rochester campuses. Note: Differential tuition rates apply. This course is allowed to be repeated 1 time.
