EEOL 440 - Action Research Field Experience

Action Research Field Experience supports teacher candidates in conducting action research with a focus on mathematics interventions in the elementary classroom. Teacher candidates will explore culturally relevant pedagogy, the impact of collaborative problem-solving, and reflective teaching strategies in math instruction. The course emphasizes real-time, data-driven action research aligned to improving math instruction and student learning outcomes for those struggling with specific math skills and concepts. This course is intended to be taken at the same time as ◎ EDST 464 - K-6 Student Teaching. Prerequisite: EEOL 400 - Data Decisions. Corequisite: EEOL 430 - Planning for Action Research in the Elementary School. Grade only. Offered annually (usually spring semester).
