PESS 403 - Organization and Leadership in Physical Education
(3 S.H.)
Organization and administrative aspects of an effective physical education program pertaining to budgets, personnel, facilities, legal responsibilities, diversity, technology, leadership and communication. Upon successful completion of the course students will (1) understand the policy and procedures required to be an administrator within physical education, (2) become knowledgeable regarding effective leadership and communication; and (3) complete a capstone project (electronic portfolio) that demonstrates one’s knowledge and ability to implement technology within the field.
