An introduction to the theory of agroecology and the current practices of sustainable agriculture. The components of farm management will be studied within the context of a complex ecosystem. Lecture, field studies, and laboratory will integrate concepts of agroecology with actual practices in sustainable agriculture. Prerequisites: ◆ BIOL 310 - Genetics, BIOL 312 - General Ecology, and CHEM 212 - Principles of Chemistry I. Offered alternate years.
