◎ NURS 454 - Leadership in Professional Practice

(4 S.H. - 1 S.H. Theory; 3 S.H. Practicum)

Synthesis course encapsulating the essence of the baccalaureate nursing role. Students consolidate their understanding of evidence-based, quality and safe nursing care. They will collaborate within clinical settings to improve systems and patient outcomes. Prerequisites: △ NURS 443 - Professional Practice III , NURS 444 - Leadership in Contemporary Health Care Settings . Pre/Co Requisite: NURS 427 - Clinical Prevention and Population Health II—Public Health , NURS 446 - High Acuity/Progressive Care , NURS 453 - Professional Practice IV , NURS 458 - Complex Mental Health Care .
