◆ MTED 322 - Modern Geometry


(4 S.H.)

This course is designed to give the prospective teacher of secondary school geometry an exposure to the concepts of non-Euclidean geometries, their relation to, and their impact on secondary school geometry. Teaching methodology and related items will be incorporated throughout the course. Prerequisites:  MATH 165 - Calculus II  and MATH 210 - Foundations of Mathematics . Offered spring semester.

Note: Effective Spring 2013 - Prerequisites:  MTED 201 - Technology-Based Geometry and Probability  and MATH 210 - Foundations of Mathematics .
