- Students must complete 12 S.H. of 300/400-level courses.
- These courses should complement the student’s career goals and be approved by the HLA Program Director.
- Students may select courses from a growing list of upper division online courses at WSU.
- Course availability will be provided each semester.
- Any upper division elective course must be pre-approved by the Program Director.

The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Healthcare Leadership and Administration (HLA) is a cooperative interdisciplinary online completion degree venture between Winona State University and Bemidji State University. The purpose of this degree is to meet the growing demand for competent and innovative leaders in the field of allied health and to deliver the program in a way that effectively serves adult learners and working professionals. The five knowledge domains of the curriculum include: Communication and Relationship Management, Leadership, Professionalism, Knowledge of the Healthcare Environment, and Business Skills and Knowledge.
