Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice Programs
The Doctor of Nursing Practice Programs offer five programs for nurses interested in post-nursing masters DNP education. Post-Master’s DNP Programs are in the areas of: Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist; Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner; Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner; or Nursing and Organizational Leadership. Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (33 S.H.)
This program is designed to integrate the Post-Nursing Master’s students into the existing sequence of courses leading to preparation as a DNP Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP). This option provides nurses who already have Master’s degree nursing preparation as a Nurse Practitioner the opportunity to acquire DNP education preparation. |
