SPED 553 - Early Childhood Special Education Collaboration


(2 credits)

This course is designed for teacher candidates of special education: early childhood. The course will focus on understanding communication and interaction with students, families, other teachers and the community to support student learning and well-being. May also be taken for undergraduate credit as SPED 453. See Undergraduate Catalog. Prerequisites: SPED 500 - Children and Youth with Exceptionalities , SPED 505 - Student Management Systems , SPED 510 - Introduction to Assessment/Methods  and SPED 551 - Early Childhood Special Education Assessment, Planning, & Placement . Grade only. Offered annually on Rochester campus.
