HERS 583 - Advanced Programming for Peak Performance (3 credits)
This course will utilize data from personal fitness tracking devices, posture and functional movement analysis technologies, as well as other emerging fitness technologies to optimize fitness programming approaches for a variety of populations ranging from older adults to competitive athletes. Students will be required to evaluate and interpret data from a number of sources, and synthesize the information in an effort to create fitness programs that improve human biomechanics, physiological function, and overall performance. Prerequisites: HERS 580 - Exercise Physiology for Performance Analytics and HERS 581 - Performance Analytics in Biomechanics . Grade only. Offered annually.
