HERS 610 - Actualizing Skills for Improved Resiliency and Emotional Regulation

This course will develop students’ abilities to model resiliency and interact with others through a trauma-informed lens. Students will explore social connectedness, relaxation techniques, self-compassion, and other critical skills for improved emotional management. Prerequisites: HERS 540 - Personal and Community Influences on Health and Wellness , HERS 550 - Mental Health From Theory to Practice: Adult , and HERS 552 - Mental Health From Theory to Practice: Youth . Grade only. Offered annually.
