HERS 640 - Immersion Experience in Performance Analytics

(4 credits)

This course is a capstone practical experience which provides Performance Analytics graduate students with integrated practical education experiences with a preceptor in a typical work setting. This experience will be a full-time immersion experience in a performance analytic setting. Students will be placed at a site for a minimum of an eight week immersion where they will be provided the opportunity to apply knowledge and master skills related to Performance Analytics. At the end of the Immersion Experience, students will create a formal presentation that includes: how data was collected and managed, how data was visually presented (dashboard), along with how individual and/or teams were programed using the data. Prerequisite: Final semester of PAMS graduate program. Corequisite: HLA 660 - Applied Analytics Capstone Project and Presentation. Grade or P/NC. Offered as required.
