EDFD 420 - Classroom Management: Early Childhood and Elementary

This course provides students with the knowledge, skill, and understanding of preparing a safe environment for all learners. In particular, the impact of strategies on managing children within early childhood and elementary educational settings. This course has field experience hours within local school districts. Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education, EDFD 400 - Human Development and Learning: Early Childhood and Elementary , and EDFD 460 - Multicultural Youth, Children, & Families Part I: Early Childhood and Elementary . Corequisite: ◆ EDFD 440 - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: Early Childhood and Elementary . Grade only. Offered each semester. This course may be retaken once due to student withdrawal or earning less than C grade.
