CAS 690 - Portfolio


(6 credits)

This course is designed as summation to the Child, Adolescent and Advocacy Studies Master’s degree. Students will demonstrate learning and application through a final portfolio. This portfolio showcase understanding of advocacy models, require independent research as demonstrate application and/or future application of approach in working as a child and adolescent advocate. Prerequisites: CAS 600 - Introduction to Child and Adolescent Studies , CAS 610 - Systems I: Benefits and Barriers , CAS 620 - Understanding Child & Adolescent Behavioral and Mental Health Concerns , CAS 630 - Systems II: Benefits and Barriers , CAS 640 - Addressing and Managing Child and Adolescent Behavioral and Mental Health Concerns , CAS 650 - Current Issues/Special Topics , CAS 660 - Poverty , and CAS 670 - Impact of Technology on Children & Adolescents . Grade only. Offered annually (usually fall semester).
