EDUC 331 - Teaching Social Studies in Secondary Schools
(3 credits)
Materials and methods of teaching geography, history and civics, including the newest textbooks, maps, pictures and other electronic visuals. Prerequisites: EDFD 400 - Metacognitive Learner: B-6th Grade or EDFD 401 - Metacognitive Learner: K-12 and 5-12 ; EDFD 460 - Multicultural Youth, Children, and Families Part I: B-6th Grade or EDFD 461 - Multicultural Youth, Children, and Families: Part I: K-12 and 5-12 ; ◆ EDFD 440 - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: B-6th Grade or ◆ EDFD 441 - Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: K-12 and 5-12 ; and EDFD 420 - Classroom Management: B-6th Grade or EDFD 421 - Classroom Management: K-12 and 5-12 . Grade only. Offered annually (usually fall semester).
