NURS 350 - Medical/Surgical Nursing II


(4 credits)

Students will continue to advance on their content knowledge, critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and clinical judgment skills. Students will assess their effective communication skills and application of therapeutic interventions that address the needs of a diverse adult patient population in acute care settings. Preferred corequisites: ◆ NURS 340 - Professional Nursing and Nursing Success II , NURS 345 - Nursing Competency Skills and Application II , NURS 365 - Nursing Care of Maternal and Infant Patients , and NURS 370 - Nursing Care for Mental Health . Prerequisites: Admission to the Nursing program, NURS 305 - Nursing Competency Skills and Application I  and NURS 310 - Medical/Surgical Nursing I . Grade only. Offered each semester on Winona and Rochester campuses. Note: Differential tuition rates apply. This course is allowed to be repeated 1 time.
