NURS 636 - Wound, Ostomy, Continence, Foot and Nail Care Clinical

(1-4 variable credits)

During this clinical experience, learners will be able to apply their didactic learning to the practice settings of wound, ostomy, continence, and/or foot & nail care experiences which may include simulation- based learning. Per attached email Prerequisites: NURS 638 - Wound Care; NURS 648 - Ostomy Care; NURS 658 - Continence Care; NURS 668 - Foot and Nail Care or instructor permission. Grade only. Offered each semester as needed. Note: One credit in this course equals 40 hours of clinical/practicum experience. The course may be repeated up to 4 times for a total of 4 credits.
